On suburbia

Living in a suburb is purgatory. You get none of the spice and variety of a city, nor the tranquility and solitude of a rural home. Certainly a ‘luxury problem’, but I feel disconnected from what was once a very vibrant and evolving social life. Is it not advanced social interactions that spurned so much growth of the human brain over millennia? In the amazing year four-hundred billion, where I come from, there are no ‘cities’, no ‘suburbs’, and no ‘rural’ areas. Humans have evolved into a planet-sized, gelatinous, ocean-like entity, constantly interconnected as a giant telepathic hermaphroditic undulation. That’s right, ladies, I just referenced Ren and Stimpy and Star Trek.
